Training

Genesis Martial Arts is dedicated to the improvement of our students through rigorous and authentic training in the martial arts. Karate Students will be trained and ranked in traditional Kempo Karate. All students will also learn techniques from Jujitsu, Judo, Wrestling, and Muay Thai kickboxing. At Genesis Martial Arts, we focus on both the practical aspects of self-defense skills and physical conditioning, as well as the development of positive characteristics including: self-mastery, honor, respect, confidence, leadership, commitment, work ethic, inner peace, and restraint.

Classes

We offer classes for children, youth, and adults. Karate Students (children/youth) can choose to enroll in one class per week for $59/month, or two classes per week for $84/month. MMA Students (adults) may attend two classes per week for $59. Classes are taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the evening. Our schedule for both days is as follows:

Karate students wear a traditional Karate Uniform (gi). MMA students wear typical gym clothing (shorts, tee-shirt or tank-top).

Facilities

Our 1200 square foot Dojo area has been modeled after authentic dojos found in Okinawa (with a few modern improvements). We've tried hard to create a training environment that is both functional and inspirational. State of the art training equipment, floor mats, and mirrors will all assist you in the improvement of your skills. We pride ourselves on the clean and sanitary condition of our training area.
